About Us
My journey to somatic coaching has been an interesting one, shaped by the discovery that helping people who were struggling was something really important to me and a space in which I wanted to show up.
For many years I worked in a primary school, supporting children with their reading and relationship with books and stories. In later years, I took on a role in mental health support and emotion coaching, helping the children to understand and navigate their emotions, relationships and challenges. Whatever the setting, the importance of creating safe, supportive spaces, where a pupil could show up without pressure or expectation was paramount for emotional and mental growth.
As I continued with this work, I began to realise that emotional healing isn’t just about talking through problems; it is deeply connected to our bodies. My curiosity grew and I decided to train as a somatic coach to understand better how what we experience in our bodies is linked to our emotional well-being.
Seeing the potential of this work, through both navigating and understanding my own life challenges and transitions, and in supporting others, is what motivates me to provide a space for individuals to reconnect with their bodies and emotions. To help them to learn about who they might be once all the patterning and masks are dropped and to live lives more aligned with what emerges.
